Florence Yirenkyi
I didn’t set out to build a foundation, I simply followed my heart. Many years ago, during the war in Liberia, I witnessed something that changed my life forever. At the port, I saw people, young and old, mothers with babies, struggling for food and fighting to survive each day.
My sister, who was living in Italy at the time, had sent me some personal items, but when I saw the pain and hunger around me, I couldn’t keep them to myself. Without even thinking, I started sharing everything I had. That single act of compassion planted a seed in my heart, a deep desire to help others in need.
Since that day, I have dedicated my life to giving, supporting, and caring for the vulnerable. For more than a decade, I have been doing this quietly, one life at a time, and every person I have been able to help reminds me how powerful love and kindness can be. Two years ago, I decided to give this calling a name and a structure. That was how SilverLife Global Foundation was officially registered.
Our mission is to bring hope and healing to orphans, widows, ex-convicts, and anyone facing life’s hardest battles. Through education, skills training, food support, and spiritual care, we continue to show the love of God in action. This foundation is not just an organization to me, it is a part of my heart.

To build a strong support system for ex-convicts re-entering society, orphans, vulnerable children, widows, and families facing food insecurity.
We aim to restore dignity, hope, and stability by addressing barriers such as limited job opportunities, unstable housing, and lack of access to basic needs… Helping individuals rebuild their lives and communities in love and faith.
